2 Things You Must Know About Sampling

When I hear the word "sample" I immediately think about walking up and down the aisles at Costco and trying various food items from yogurt to oven-baked frozen treats. It's a delicious experience that leaves me wanting more (although usually not badly enough to actually purchase the product...).

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Costco discontinued offering samples for safety reasons but has recently announced that they are "beginning a phased return to full sampling".  So that's exciting.

At Citadel Packaging, we also offer samples of our products.  You can sample up to 10 products and pay only $10 in shipping & handling  The great thing about sampling is that you get to try before you buy.  It's a great way to see how the heat seal liners will adhere to your PET jars or to get a visual of how your new salve will look in a polypropylene jar.

Sampling is a pretty straight-forward process but there are a couple things to remember:

  • Product compatibility testing is the customer's responsibility.  We will try to give you the best information possible to help you make a good decision but we can't give you a guarantee that your product will be compatible with our products.  There are just too many variables involved.
  • There are slight differences between manufacturers so if you're switching suppliers, it's a good idea to get your hands on the products and see for yourself.

At Citadel Packaging we're always happy to help get you the samples you need.  If you have questions, you can always reach out to us at (208) 550-3393 or chat with us right on our website.  Happy sampling!
